Kilmovee Community Centre held a very successful and well attended Open Event as part of a celebration of the services and facilities it offers and how it remains at the heart of the community. Kilmovee FRC were also present to demonstrate the vital services it offers to the community, along with many groups, clubs and organisations from around the parish. Kilmovee Community Centre Open Day is also a part of countrywide celebration to make sure that everyone in Ireland has a sense of #Belonging16

A huge thanks also to @MayoGAA‘s Andy Moran for spending some time with the kid’s on his way to training this evening, he spent time doing a few drills presenting certificates to the schools competition, signing autographs and loads of photos… (although maybe he should stay out of goal 😉 ), and has said he’ll be back in Kilmovee soon.

A huge thank you and well done to all the staff at the centre for putting on such a great evening, which remained largely dry after a huge hail storm 10 minute prior to opening with events on the Astroturf.

I was on hand to snap a few pictures, hope you enjoy and don’t forget to share and download…
