Kilmovee Foróige Club presented their play “Eirí amach na Cásca” to open the night and this year’s Bealtaine Festival.
Brian Hoban Tourism Administrator at Clogher Heritage Centre, and one of the foremost heritage specialists and guides in Mayo officially launched this year’s events.
Local poet Pete Costello also attended last night and recited his recently written poem “Easter 1916 Remembered” and presented the poem written on slate to Bea Anne Smith.
