On Saturday 4th of May we had 63 participants take part in Kilkelly’s first ever colour dash to celebrate Mayo Day 2019.
We would just like to thank everyone who took part in the event. It was fantastic to see such huge support from the local and surrounding community’s.
We would also like to say a special thank you to John Caulfield for launching the race, to all the businesses in Kilkelly – Cunniffes, The Corner House, Coffey’s Pharmacy, Tarpey’s, the Dublin2Mayo tractor run etc. for getting behind the event and supporting us in anyway that they could. Without the support of local businesses at events like this they would not be possible.
Also a huge thank you to all the volunteers on the day for taking time out of their busy schedules to ensure that the event ran efficiently and safely. To Conor Kelly – photography – for taking the time to come to the event and capture the event on camera. To each and everyone who played a part in preparing for the event and for assisting on the day and contributed in any shape or form it has not gone unnoticed.
We look forward to celebrating more events in the future with you all.
