Cois Tine

Photos: Cois Tine – June 2016

The monthly Cois Tine – Heritage Night was held in Kilmovee last night with the usual song, dance, music and stories.

Being a Bank Holiday there were a few new faces who were made to feel at home and some even sang a song or two. Again well done to the Heritage committee for putting on a superb evening…

The next Heritage night will be on Monday 4th July and will be part of the Seosamh Mac Gabhann Summer School official launch featuring John Carty. John is one of Ireland’s finest traditional musicians. He plays fiddle, tenor banjo, tenor guitar and occasionally the flute. His style has been described as North Connacht traditional music. (for more details see here)
