Merry Christmas From Kilmovee Info

37

I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to your community website in 2016 with news, information, emails and financially.

Whilst the last few months have been a bit quieter the site looks to be on course to equal the last years record breaking viewing figures.

During the first part of 2016 I was able to invest lots of time & effort into the site and the promotion of it, but due to a change in my circumstances time has become a little tighter, but I am committed to the site for the foreseeable future.

Plus a little illness over the last few weeks has prevented me attending a few events, more proof I need a little assistance to cover events for our friends living away (or here in Ireland)

However, in order to keep the content current and up to date I will need groups, organisations and residents to become more active.

I ask that you make a New Years resolution to not only help me out @ Kilmovee Info but spare a bit of time assisting one of the many great community groups that make our parish a special one.

Helping others isn’t a chore; it is one of the greatest gifts there is.

Please show your support to the many people who give up their time freely to organize events throughout the year that many people attend whether it’s sporting, music/dance/song, educational or here at Kilmovee Info.

Get in touch with me here to help me out or if your interested in helping out with other committees and I’ll pass your details on. ([email protected])

Looking for a last minute stocking filler? Why not treat someone special to a wonderful concert on Friday March 31st when Seán Keane performs in Kilmovee Community Centre. Click here for tickets & more information.

Once again, Merry Christmas to all where ever in the world you are, stay safe and enjoy the festivities. I look forward to bringing you news and photos from around the parish in 2017.

(ps. The Santa tracker will be live on Kilmovee Info tomorrow (Christmas Eve) from about 4pm)
