When we were in the seminary one of the students used speak about this parable.

He said he’d love to write a “Northern Irish” version of the Scriptures and he imagined the conversation between the steward and the people who owed his employer money.

“Hi, how’s about you? How much do you owe?”

“I owe 100”.

“Here, sit you down there and write eighty” …
