Truth is, we’d all be dropping the stones! Jesus knew what He was saying then and He knows what He’s saying now.

This week we celebrated First Penance with eight of our younger parishioners. It’s not called “FIRST” for nothing. It suggests a second, third, fourth, forty-fourth and beyond! As Lent passes us by and we move towards the promise of an Empty Tomb, where are we with Confession and that honesty that calls us to the realisation that we’re in no position to throw stones at anyone?

When were we last at the Sacrament of Reconciliation? There’s an opportunity this weekend, in the Cathedral Ballaghaderreen. “Holy Door of Mercy”, opportunity of healing – a timely invitation to us all.
