Kilmovee Parish Bulletin – 10th April

Peter is asked three times by Jesus; “Do you love me?”

There’s a frustration, we’ve all felt from time to time, on being asked the same question by someone we love. Maybe it’s a parent, husband or wife, suffering from dementia and we are asked the same question repeatedly. Though we’ve answered, the answer has not sunk in or, if it has, only for a short while. We struggle to answer again and again what we believe the person already knows and yet, all experts would suggest, the right thing to do is to patiently answer the question.
