A Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann was set up in Kilmovee in February 1977 and to this day is still going strong.

On Friday 27th April, in Kilmovee Community Centre, the Branch is holding a night to celebrate over forty years in existence with a tune, a song and dance, and some refreshments.

Celebrations kick off at 7:30 pm and guests on the night include Dr. Labhrás Ó Murchú, Ardstiúrthóir of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, TG4 Gradam Ceoil recipient Patsy Hanley and All Ireland winning musicians Deirdre and Sylvie Golden, alongside local and visiting artists.

The Aghamore Set Dancing Champions and the Ganley Sisters will give us a flavour of Irish dancing at its best. As this is an important milestone in the history of our C.C.E. Branch, we would really love to see you there.

Admission is free to this special celebration and there will be a bumper raffle on the night.
