Monday Night May 2nd

Official Launch @ 8pm By Brian Hoban 

Brian, is Tourism Administrator at Clogher Heritage Centre, and is one of the foremost heritage specialists and guides in Mayo will officially launch the festival. He will speak on the,
“Easter Rising 1916”

Kilmovee Foróige Club will present their play “Eirí amach na Cásca” to open the Festival.
Local Poet, Pete Costello, will also attend on the night and will recite his recently written poem “Easter 1916 Remembered”.

Usual Heritage Night of traditional music, song, dance, storytelling will follow. Refreshments served. Raffle will take place, with lots of prizes.

Admission is free.

Wednesday May 4th

Craft Morning in ‘Cois Tine’

With displays by Kilmovee Knitting/Crochet Group 11.30am – 2pm (Refreshments served)

Wednesday May 11th

Station Mass in ‘Cois Tine’ @ 8pm

Followed by Presentation of Prizes to Pupils from Kilmovee/Tavrane N.S. for Art Competition (theme 1916 Rising) Recital by ‘Cill Mobhí’ Comhaltas Group. Refreshments served.
