Cois Tine

‘NA BRÍDEOGA’ is a tradition associated with ‘St. Brigid’s Day’ and is unfortunately apart from its memory lost to our heritage. But not so at ‘Cois Tine’ Heritage Centre Kilmovee. On Monday night, February 1st, Na ‘BRÍDEOGAÍ’ will perform.

To mark this occasion and to herald the coming of spring, musicians, singers and dancers will come together to entertain the audience. The feast of St. Brigid is a good time for remembering the hospitality that Brigid was famed for, so the usual cupán tae will be served with homemade traditional food. A demonstration on the making of St.Brigid’s crosses will take place during the first part of the night, come early and join in this local custom. Starting at 8pm. A raffle will be held on the night. Admission is free. Fáilte.roimh gach duine
